GOOD NEWS! Mariposas starting up classes again

Recently the team at Yoga Effect received some great news! The Mariposa Center for Girls will start yoga classes again this summer.

We are hopefully and patiently waiting as people cautiously begin to gather to practice yoga as a community, and are inspired by individuals and organizations who continue to pursue their yoga passion and professions virtually.  

The inspirational photos and videos of the Mariposas from the Dominican Republic are sorely missed. Our team and donors look forward to seeing yoga classes for the girls pick back up where they left off, learning asanas, meditation, and breathing techniques.
